Jason Moran was born and raised in Redford, Mich. He moved to St. Paul, Minn., in 1997 to study English Literature at Concordia University, St. Paul. After completing his undergraduate degree, he discovered he has the uncanny ability to translate the technical into the practical as a customer service centered Help Desk Manager. In 2003, Jason met Erin DeBoer who quickly became the Joanie to his Chachi. The couple took the last name DeBoer-Moran in an effort to avoid confusion with the Happy Days duo. The two married and live in a duplex in the Midway area of St. Paul with two cats; Kala and Billie.
Jason is passionate about the use of technology to build and maintain communities. In 2009, he was recognized as one of the Top 20 Innovators in Social Media in the Twin Cities for his efforts establishing students, faculty and staff in social media. In 2010, Jason graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul with an MBA in innovation and leadership development. The industry he researched throughout his studies is the Social Technologies Industry. You can find Jason on Twitter or all over the internet under the name: newcoventry. Outside of technology, Jason loves playing drums, listening to music, wearing artist designed t-shirts and trying to locate a really good burger.
